Christmas Services
We warmly invite you to our services for Christmas 2008
with a special welcome to visitors to join us in our
beautiful village churches.
Members of other denominations are also especially welcome.
Thursday 18th December
6.30pm Christmas Carol Service for Village & School at Witherslack
Sunday 21st December
11.00am Christmas Carol Service at Winster
Readings, congregational carols.
4.00pm Carols by Candlelight at Helsington
Readings, congregational carols by candlelight at St John’s with festival refreshments.
4.00pm Christmas Carol Service at Crosthwaite
Readings, congregational carols, handbells and items sung by the Two Valleys Choir and Crosthwaite School - Collection goes to the Children’s Society.
6.00pm Christmas Carol Service at Underbarrow
Readings, congregational carols sung by the light of the oil lamps and afterwards mulled wine is served.
7.00pm Christmas Carol Service at Cartmel Fell
Readings, congregational carols plus Christmas anthems from “Braddyll Friends”
Christmas Eve
4.00pm Crib & Carols at St. Mary’s, Crosthwaite
(wonderful for families & children - with Puppet Theatre).
