Gilpinbank Farm

This farm, built on a limestone outcrop, was once owned by Daniel Harrison, who was an ancestor of the Argles.

(20th October) John Casson died aged 86

1999

(Westmorland Gazette) Carter Jonas asking for offers in the region of £280,000 for Gilpin Bank Farmhouse, buildings and 16 acres of land.  Vendor Mr Argles, successful purchase Mr & Mrs Edmondson who enlarged the house by converting the adjoining buildings.
