St. Catherine's, Crook
The Parish Church of St Catherine, Crook is a joyful and loving family of Christians seeking to worship God, love and care for one another, and reach out to others with the good news of Jesus for today.
Join us in worship at 10.00 am every Sunday.
Visitors are most welcome. Please stay for coffee after the service. You will find the church
on the B5284, Crook Road (GR 452951).
Our pattern of services is as follows:
First Sunday of the Month: Holy Communion
All other Sundays: Morning Worship
We usually use Common Worship, with the occasional use of the Book of Common Prayer for a more traditional service.
We have two Home Groups that meet fortnightly, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening. Details can be obtained if you phone 015395 68577 or 01539 736106.
St Catherine’s is part of the ‘Two Valleys Team’ but for many years has been in joint benefice with St Thomas’ Church in Kendal. The Rev’d Canon Tim Montgomery is our Vicar and Rev’d Tim Harmer, Vicar of All Saints in Underbarrow and St John’s Helsington is also Associate Priest at St Catherine’s.
Also part of the Ministry Team are two Readers and two Commissioned Lay Ministers.
