Over two days in April over 120 children from two schools came to church to 'Experience Easter'.
The church was set out with 6 bases (see the photos) and the children visited each one over an hour.
They were helped to reflect on themes around the Easter story - Hopes and Dreams, (Palm Sunday) Serving others (Jesus washes the disciples’ feet) Remember Me (The Last Supper), what worries us and being lonely (The Garden of Gethsemane) Sorrows and Suffering in the world (Good Friday) and ending with a celebration of the empty tomb on Easter Sunday.
The feedback from the adults from 6 churches in the group who helped tell the story and the children was that it had been a really good time.
