St. Anthony's St. Catherine's St. Mary's St. john's All Saints Holy Trinity St. Paul's St. Thomas's

St. Paul's
Witherslack, Grange-over-Sands LA11 6RS

Welcome to St. Paul’s church webpage… We have a delightful little church here in Witherslack which remains open for visitors everyday. As a result of a legacy from John Barwick, a Witherslack man, who became Dean of St. Paul’s in 1662, the church was built. It is a fine example of a mid-seventeenth century village church, with the later additions of pews and organ.

There is a service every Sunday alternating between mornings and evenings and generally we follow the monthly pattern of services below, but there are occasional variations so you can check the services for this month by clicking the link in the "services" panel.

Sunday of month Service
1st9.30am Holy Communion (CW)
2nd10.00am Family Service
3rd9.30am Holy Communion (BCP or CW)
4th6.30pm Evensong (BCP) (4.00pm October – February)

(If there are 5 Sundays in the month then there is usually only one service in one of the parishes cared for by our parish priest - so check the Notices in the church porch before hand).

The vicar's post is in vacancy at the moment.
